A long-term care menu has to satisfy residents, the diet orders on the floor, the budget and the surveyor. Ours are written by dietitians who work in the facilities they write for. We offer a variety of specialized menus, and custom menus are available. We can account for nearly any therapeutic diet, for nearly any age, medical condition or disease state, and our standard Prader-Willi, PKU and ketogenic menus come at no extra charge. Holiday menus are included. Menus are delivered seasonally to make the most of fresh ingredients, and every diet comes with recipes, HACCP instructions and a nutritional analysis adjusted to your community size.   • Standard Menu (Skilled Nursing)

    Four-week cycle menus for skilled nursing facilities, written quarterly, with nutritional analysis for each diet.

    Diets included: Regular (IDDSI Level 7), texture-modified diets at IDDSI Level 7 Easy to Chew, Level 6 Soft & Bite-Sized, Level 5 Minced & Moist and Level 4 Pureed, Consistent Carbohydrate, Liberal Dialysis, and small and large portion variations. Recipes come with HACCP instructions and analysis adjusted to your community size. Therapeutic diets such as No Added Salt, 2 g Sodium, Gluten Free, Lactose Free and GERD can be added, along with custom diets for nearly any age, medical condition or disease state. Standard Prader-Willi, PKU and ketogenic menus come at no extra charge, with customized versions on request, and holiday menus are included.

    A range of therapeutic diets with recipe instructions. Three- to six-week cycle menus written two to three times a year, with nutritional analysis for each diet.

    Includes master menu forms, daily cook's menus and recipes written for each IDDSI texture level (Level 7 Easy to Chew, Level 6 Soft & Bite-Sized, Level 5 Minced & Moist, Level 4 Pureed). Diets include Regular, Consistent Carbohydrate, Gluten Free, Lactose Free and Liberal Dialysis, and nearly any other therapeutic diet can be added. Standard Prader-Willi, PKU and ketogenic menus come at no extra charge, with customized versions on request, and holiday menus are included.

  • Residential / Assisted Living Facility Menu

    Four-week cycle menus for residential and assisted living communities, written quarterly, with nutritional analysis for each diet.

    Diets include Regular, Consistent Carbohydrate, Heart Healthy, Liberal Dialysis, small and large portion, and texture-modified diets at IDDSI Level 6 Soft & Bite-Sized, Level 5 Minced & Moist and Level 4 Pureed. Recipes include HACCP instructions and individual analysis; daily cook's menus are included and recipes are adjusted to your facility size. Other therapeutic diets can be added, standard Prader-Willi, PKU and ketogenic menus come at no extra charge, and holiday menus are included.

  • Group Home / ICF-IID Menu

    Four-week menus for group homes and ICF-IID settings, written quarterly with nutritional analysis, following the California Department of Developmental Services diet manual guidelines.

    Includes regular, heart-healthy, consistent-carbohydrate and other therapeutic diets, standard Prader-Willi, PKU and ketogenic menus at no extra charge, texture-modified diets by IDDSI level, holiday menus, sack lunches, a range of portion sizes, recipes with preparation instructions and HACCP guidance, and editable daily cook's menus. Custom menus for the specific needs of your home and a pediatric version are available.

Special menus

Our dietitians write special menus for residents who need them. The standard versions come with our menus at no extra charge; for a version customized to a resident, contact us.

Fully IDDSI 2.2 compliant

Every menu we write is fully compliant with the IDDSI Framework 2.2. Texture-modified diets are written and labelled by IDDSI level, Level 7 Easy to Chew, Level 6 Soft & Bite-Sized, Level 5 Minced & Moist and Level 4 Pureed, with drinks by IDDSI thickness level, so the diet order, the menu, the recipe and the tray card all use the same language. We do not use the older texture terms.
