What MenuCentral does in your kitchen

MenuCentral puts the menu our dietitians wrote to work in your kitchen. The current cycle, every diet, every recipe and every printout are in one place, on a computer or a kitchen tablet.

• Every diet on one page. The cook's menu lines up each diet and texture side by side, from regular and consistent carbohydrate to pureed. One sheet on the counter instead of a binder.
• Tap an item, get the recipe. Every underlined item opens its recipe, sized to your census, with HACCP steps and the texture-modified preparation by IDDSI level. One tap takes you back.
• A simple view for the kitchen. Direct-care staff see just today's meals, one tap from the full planner.
• Title 22 checks as you plan. Cycle, posting, portions, fluids and meal pattern are checked before the surveyor sees them.
• Signed off and on record. Your RD approves from any device, and the app keeps a history of every edit: who made it and when.
• Swap a meal in one tap. The new meal follows the variety rules and updates every diet, recipe and nutrition total.
• Combination diets, one tray. Soft & bite-sized plus renal? Pick both, and MenuCentral builds the tray and prints the ticket.
• Paper when you want it. Posting menus, cook's menus, recipe cards and the order guide print or save as a PDF.
• Nutrition on the recipe card. Calories, protein, carbohydrate and sodium per portion, figured from USDA FoodData Central.
• Room for family favorites. A family can send in a loved one's favorite recipe. A dietitian reviews it, and it joins the menu like any other dish.

Who it is for

Facilities that use our skilled nursing, assisted living, group home and ICF-IID or Select menus, anywhere in the United States. Every menu is fully IDDSI 2.2 compliant, and menus are updated quarterly, so each season's cycle is there when it starts.

Recipes come from our library of more than 1,900 standardized recipes: 50-serving recipes for skilled nursing and 8-serving recipes for homes, each scaled to your census. The Title 22 checks are built for California skilled nursing facilities, ICF/DD homes and congregate living health facilities (CLHFs).

Subscriptions

MenuCentral is available as a monthly online menu subscription, quoted per facility. A discount applies if you also have RD services with Nutrition Ink. If you would rather work from paper, we can ship traditional paper menus directly to your facility for an additional cost.
