Consultant Registered Dietitian: Assisted living, Alameda County, CA

Nutrition Ink, Inc. is looking for a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) to be the consultant dietitian for assisted living in Alameda County, California. This is a per-diem consulting assignment of 4 hours per quarter. Hours are approximate and are confirmed with the facility.
What you will do
- Visit the community on a regular schedule and review residents on special diets and residents with weight changes.
- Check the kitchen and food service during each visit.
- Train kitchen and care staff.
- Document each visit with our standardized tools.
What you need
- The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Availability to cover the facility in Alameda County: 4 hours per quarter.

Every consultant is supported by an office that has placed RDNs since 1976: standardized documentation and tracking tools, the menus and manuals for the facilities you cover, an experienced management RDN to call, and continuing education. Many of our consultants combine several assignments.
